- Welcome
As Academic Director for Europe, I am struck by the energy, passion and ambition that pervade the Duke experience here. Faculty, staff and students partner to build a culture that emphasizes intellectual curiosity and innovation, while retaining a strong sense of our heritage. Together we are collaborating to enable The Fuqua School of Business to reach a higher level of engagement with key industries and companies in Europe.
Fostering our network here is exciting. Alumni and corporate friends are incredibly motivated to become involved and to give back to our school. They are leaders who show strong initiative and have a positive impact — at Duke and across the world.
My personal passion is in helping companies develop their young talent into truly global leaders. I enjoy helping students see the world more holistically and to understand how to leverage the best from its many diverse cultures.
We hope you will connect with our team through one of links on this page or feel free to contact me directly. This spring we are hosting a series of events and information sessions across Europe, so I hope you will be able to meet one of our team in person. Look at our list of events , and register online for the session you would like to attend.
Kind regards,
Elizabeth "Liz" Mellon
